The Time-Traveling Fashionista at the Palace of Marie Antoinette, by Bianca Turetsky, due out in September from Poppy publishing.
This second novel in the series follows the adventures of Louise Lambert, who dreams of life full of fanciful ballgowns, elegance and beautiful vintage dresses. Her dreams are realized when she receives an invitation to a vintage fashion sale, and when she tries on one of their dresses, she is transported back in time to the life that dress lived. The richly illustrated novels began with Louise's adventures aboard the doomed R.M.S. Titanic, and the second novel will feature life in the oh-so-glamorous court of Versailles. I am very much looking forward to diving head first into Louise's fashionable excursions, and hopefully find myself time-traveling right along with her! Until then, why not create your own Marie Antoinette inspired ensemble, starting with these exquisite shoes, courtesy of the Victorian Trading Co. I think Louise would be thrilled to get her hands on these beauties!
